One of the two Civil Aviation categories, the term General Aviation applies to all flying outside of military or scheduled airline flights. It is a category that houses both private and commercial flights, from small crop dusters to large shipping planes. Flight enthusiasts involved with General Aviation give back to the community in a variety of ways:

- Healthcare missions (i.e. urgent medical care transportation)
- Law enforcement (i.e. catching criminals, missing children searches)
